I miss this show.
First, hilarious.Hi5.
Second, side thoughts on the topic of sexism and language use—while I do believe there are many men who utilize language specifically to degrade women, I think it has become less of a conscious act by most men and something that has been embedded in to them thanks to the media. I think there are legitamately some men that think telling a woman she is the ‘hottest piece of ass’ he’s ever seen is actually acceptable. Now, under the right circumstances, perhaps, but if you’re lookin to score a number from that pretty girl at the bar, you’re surely taking quite the chance with that line.
Furthermore, the porn industry hasn’t helped to any degree. Most mainstream porn features the woman usually being degraded in some way—slapping her face with their dicks before exploding over her or choking her down on their peice. Not to say this doesn’t work for a few women, but these kind of porn moves arent exactly at the heart of sex. I don’t want to be guilty of making generalizations, but I would like to suggest the reality that there are more men nowadays that learn what sex is through porn and seeing that women are often objectified in porn, well, what do you expect?
But I digress and ramble, and am quite hungry.
