Love The Way You Lie by Eminem ft. Rhianna

Eminem’s new album Recovery, dropped just four days ago on the 18th, has made more than a splash.  As usual the talented lyricist was able to wrap up a couple tight tracks, this being one of them.  However, there is quite a polarism on the album, tracks going from sympathizing to the human condition one second and then thugging up life the next (in lesser terms).

Fans who followed Eminem in the earlier days will be pleased with parts of the album, for there are songs that resonate his old sound.  Yet, within a second, they may shudder as he falls into a soft-pop sound that just doesn’t fit the singer’s personna.

This song, one of several collaboration tracks, is one of my personal favorites, even though perhaps not completely true to the sound one mosts associates with Eminem.
